Ignite Tulsa recently announced that proceeds from the sale of VIP tickets to the September 16 event will benefit the Admiral Twin rebuilding effort. Tickets are $14.97 and a limited number are available.
“We thought this was a great fit because Ignite is a new vital aspect of Tulsa and Admiral Twin is a long-standing part of Tulsa,” said Scott Phillips, event organizer.
In addition to selling VIP tickets, Ignite Tulsa is proud to announce that Tulsa filmmaker Jack Frank will give a special presentation “Stuff That’s Gone: Lost Tulsa Icons” as part of the event to highlight the rebuilding effort for Tulsa’s Drive In.
VIP ticket holders will have priority reserved seating and receive special recognition at the event. General admission tickets to Ignite Tulsa #3, planned for 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 16 at the Blue Dome Diner, 311 East Second St., sold out last week.
Ignite Tulsa will be an evening of networking, education and entertainment with lighting fast presentations on a variety of topics. Speakers have five minutes to talk about something they are passionate about using 20 slides set to auto advance every 15 seconds.
Speakers for Ignite Tulsa include several local bloggers, a handful of engineers, a surgical nurse specializing in robotics, a venture capitalist and a professional Yo Yo player.
The evening’s MC will be KRMG’s Joe Kelley.
